Where: Eastport-South Manor High School Gym
When: Nov 7th, 9th, and 10th. It is recommended that you attend all three days. If you are competing in your varsity playoffs, and have to miss a day, that also is fine, JUST TELL US!

Age Groups: We're hoping to run teams at the 14s, 15s, 16s, 17s, and 18s level. 18s: the oldest and most skilled girls at tryouts 17s: high school juniors 16s: high school sophomores 15s: high school freshmen 14s: middle school athletes **There are some exceptions to the age/grade connections, so plan to verify team selection at tryouts.
Practice Locations: We're sorry, but we do not know this information yet.
Tuition: still pending. As long as we are not required to rent gym space, tuition costs are anticipated to be very close to what they were last year. We understand that this is difficult to plan around, but we genuinely have zero-control over this.
Notification: FURY will post offers within 24 hours of the end of tryouts. We will then be holding our signing meeting during the following week. This is a mandatory date to join the club and will be announced at tryouts. Should an offered player not show at the signing meeting (without an agreement in place), another offer will be made to a previously cut player.

2009-2010 Open Tryouts: 14-and-under

To bring with you to tryouts....
1. You MUST have registered electronically with GEVA.org. Click here for information on how to do this.
2. You must have a COMPLETE USA Volleyball Medical form (you access this as part of your registration with GEVA).
3. Your $60 tryout fee.
4. Athletic clothing (t-shirt, spandex/shorts, kneepads, water, etc.) to wear during your tryout.
5. A parent for a brief meeting.
**DO NOT PAY YOUR GEVA REGISTRATION FEE. Should you make a team, it is including within your FURY tuition. We pay it, not you!
The necessary paperwork to bring with you is extremely important. Be sure to arrive with everything required.
2008-2009 GEVA/USA Volleyball Registration Forms
All players are required to register as a new junior player on the GEVA website. While the process it simple, please first read and print the instructions (I know we all typically skip this step - don't!). Then go to the registration page and register as a NEW USER. The entire registration process is completely online. You must print your registration form as well as your medical release (AND COMPLETE IT WITHOUT BLANKS!!!), and bring them both with you on the first day of tryouts.
DO NOT PAY THE $40 FEE!! This fee is included in your tuition, should you make one of our teams.

Tryouts for Grades 7 and 8 (our 14's team) will take place in December/January. If you wish to try out for our 15's team, you are free to do so. Any tryout fee will happily be applied to the 14's tryout. More information to follow. Please continue to check our website for additional details...
